Hello fellow bears,
I live in Germany, in a state where there was like a huge amount of corona cases whatever that means. School here is obligatory, only zirkusfolks and maybe diplomats are sometimes allowed to homeschool so practically nobody does. I sometimes think about leaving, but than again I wouldn't want my kids ( 11 and 5 ) to loose their familly and friends and the home we live in and love. Anyway, the masks are obligatory at school and the last two weeks were just dreadful because the kids had to wear them constantly, even during lessons. So for 8 hours a day. My daughter ist hard-of-hearing so I menaged to convince our doctor to at least give her a permission to wear these funnylooking plexiglas things. Altough the doctors first advice was to "just stick it out". Actually there are a lot of people in Germany who are against the draconian laws. There was lately a big protest in Berlin, some heavy stuff happening with people being arrested for demonstrating, not weraring masks etc. Obviously, a lot of parents were against those all-day-long masks so the goverment had to back off and now the official statement is mask only during breaks and permission to put it down during a lesson. Free choice. Just when we were about to celebrate this minor victory, we receive a letter from the school principal who says that, yes it is a free choice but he would be very obliged, in fact he asks our children in the name of SECURITY and HEALTH to keep wearing the masks constantly. The worst part is, like 80 % of all the parents just said yes to this and not only that. They try to convince us to change our mind or straightout tell us we are selfish and basically a danger to humanity. I thought I'd share this because honestly, the world seems so crazy right now I'm not quite able to understand some people and they literally scare me . BB is right, they just never stop, they wont stop until you consent. Sometimes I just don't know where to turn to. Maybe there is a bear family in Germany who has to go through this hell as well ? There were times I couldn't watch BBs livestreams because it almost hurt to see families being able to keep their children home, not having to sent them everyday to this mess among these scared or straight out crazy people. Anyway, that's it. Beartaria is a source of so much hope right now. Keep crushing' bears.
I’ll put out a line on Social Galactic and see if there are any bears available to back you up.
Stay strong Agibear! You’re crushing it!
Build community among like minds, and sacrifice. Whether that means ease as you defy mandates, or forsake comfort of friends and family in a move is up to you. I'd also recommend you work to build up a store of faith in God, as he's more powerful than all these adversaries. I know that just about any government would have a PR disaster grabbing the kids of enough families, (especially a God FEARING populace, which most of europe sadly lacks ATM...).
Europe (and the west at large) is sadly engulfed a crisis of atheism. Watch Steven Anderson's Europe Missons Conference series to get an idea of the on the absolute state that it's in ( In Germany's case It's people may arguably be paying for it's churches selling out to the state (See: "Hitler's Cross: The Revealing Story of How the Cross of Christ Was Used As a Symbol of the Nazi Agenda" by Ewin W. Lutzer). The church is yolking up with the state becomes a part of the beastly system (see what's currently happening now in the United States). It is supposed to answer to Jesus Christ first.
Check out this clip from the movie "Christ Alone" on the biblical jurisdiction of God -> man -> family -> church -> society -> State. A jurisdiction which we see within the laws of nature.
Somewhere along the way, we scrambled up the the pyramid.
Thank you for your encouraging posts and the advice. Faith does help me a lot. Passages about not following the wicked and taking instead the narrow path. Not that these masked people are all wicked, some are just affraid. Or have very old grannies. A little update. Yesterday my daughter took off her plastic thingy and some other kids ( 7 out of 30 ) took off their masks in the classroom. Most of the teachers made only some comment about being irresponsible and one teacher actually made all off them put on the masks again. I contacted the principal and told him how inacceptable this kind of behaviour was, how they had no right to shame the kids into wearing the mask. He immediately responded that it was indeed inacceptable and he would be instructing the teachers to let it be. I don't know how long before they change the rules of the game again because a)they really want to and b)the second wave is comin'!!
So yay, the ride never ends and today is a good day.
