This is a mirrored video of Matt of Quantum of Conscience's previous channel Texas Shrugged about the basic psychology of introducing truth topics to others.
One of the takeaways is: When introducing truth topics, don't start out with terms like "flat earth." It's not possible to reach anyone this way. It'd be like a politician introducing himself as a communist because he wanted to support labor groups. The brand is tainted, don't use it.
Instead, perhaps start with topics about how the globe model of 8 inches of curvature drop per squared miles has been disproven independently hundreds of times, talk about the boats and the sun reappearing over the horizon with the p900, and so forth.
Really like what they're saying. You don't just dump a whole vat of gravy on someone who hasn't even shown they had biscuits that needed some. You can show some gravy, and if they want that gravy, well give them a little.
No need to push it, but no need to hide it either.
It's so interesting on how the distance causes the ship to look like it's going down, like how rail road tracks seem to touch as you look into the distance.
