Not in the USA, because of the Thirteenth Amendment:
"Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."
Of course, this only works if the law is being upheld and properly enforced, but even in terms of the court of public opinion this is one of those cases where you'd actually get both left and right in agreement. Heck, imagine this scenario:
Monsanto: We gave you that gene therapy so we own you.
Bob: No. *Shoots up Monsanto HQ*
Jury: Innocent of all charges.
Public: Bob is based.
Congress: We ain't touching this with a 1,000ft barge pole.
Monsanto PR: Ain't nothing I can do for you retards. Also I quit.
Such a claim is even less likely to fly in Europe, where consumer protections against big companies tend to be stronger, and where "human rights" legislation is help up to be of great import. It might work in parts of the 3rd world, where local bigwigs can be bribed into enforcing it though. But then, regular slavery also works in parts of the 3rd world already, so this would just be a new justification for what's happening already.

> VMAT2 vaccine targets religious people...
I'm not worried about such stuff TBH. "Oh look we found a correlation between religiosity and a part of the brain / a gene or twenty"... big deal. Correlation =/= causation. Reason and logic can lead you to belief in God without the need for emotions. It as simple as "turning off the God gene" or w/e. Et cetera et cetera et cetera.
Basically, if humans are meat robots with no free will, then
it might be possible to change someone's genes and thus change their belief in God or change their offspring's belief in God (genes aren't magic, so changing your genes might not change your belief in God, eg if you've been a strong believer for many years). On the other hand, if we're meat robots with no free will then it's all meaningless, morality doesn't exist for us, blah blah nihilism reigns. As we know all of that to be sheerest drivel though, we can safely dismiss it.
